WHY DOES SourceMonks NEED DATA?<\/p>\r\n

WHAT DATA DOES SourceMonks PROCESS?<\/p>\r\n
SourceMonks processes your personal data because you have provided this data to us verbally or in writing, or by filling in the contact form or adding it to \u201cMy SourceMonks\u201d via our website. SourceMonks also collects data via third parties, such as the social media channel LinkedIn.<\/p>\r\n
This may include candidates who:<\/p>\r\n

\u25cf Date of birth, age, gender, nationality, language.<\/p>\r\n

BASIS FOR PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA<\/p>\r\n
Organisations may only process personal data if they have a legal basis for doing so. We process your personal data on the following four legal bases:<\/p>\r\n
1. Consent: for passing on candidate details to a (potential) client. You may withdraw your consent at any time.<\/p>\r\n
2. Legitimate interest: SourceMonks processes personal data to pursue its legitimate interests, namely:<\/p>\r\n

\u25cf Performing recruitment and selection services (for example, by processing data obtained through third parties).<\/p>\r\n
\u25cf Providing information about services, other activities and\/or professional information (e.g. via e-mail and digital newsletters).<\/p>\r\n
3. Agreement: necessary for the performance of an agreement by SourceMonks, for example, a contract for services or a service agreement.<\/p>\r\n
4. Legal obligation: if we receive a legitimate request to provide data to a competent authority. We are also legally obliged to retain personal data (for a long period of time) in our financial records, in accordance with tax legislation.<\/p>\r\n
SHARE WITH OTHERS<\/p>\r\n
SourceMonks will only share your personal data with third parties if this is necessary for the performance of the agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We enter into a processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. The processors may only process the personal data on our behalf and under our supervision, solely for purposes that we determine under strict confidentiality. SourceMonks remains responsible for these processing operations.<\/p>\r\n
SourceMonks uses a processor that stores its data in the United States based on standard contractual clauses. This means that there is an adequate level of protection for the processing of personal data.<\/p>\r\n
When we collaborate with freelancers, temporary staff or partners who are not processors because they are under our direct authority, and it is necessary to exchange personal data, we enter into a confidentiality agreement.<\/p>\r\n
HOW LONG DOES SourceMonks STORE DATA?<\/p>\r\n
SourceMonks does not retain your personal data longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and complies with applicable laws and regulations. Once the retention period for personal data has expired, it is destroyed or anonymised.<\/p>\r\n
SourceMonks applies the following retention periods:<\/p>\r\n
For recruitment and selection via external sources: Personal data that SourceMonks has not obtained from you in the context of recruitment and selection will be retained for a maximum of 28 days, unless you give your consent for that data to be retained for longer.<\/p>\r\n
When consent for processing has been granted: Given the nature of our services and your interest as an interim professional in building a long-term relationship with SourceMonks and remaining visible for assignments, your data will be retained for a maximum of 5 years if no agreement has been concluded in the meantime. However, you will be regularly asked to update your data (update your CV) and to indicate your availability. If you make use of this option, the date of this update will be considered the start of a new 5-year period.<\/p>\r\n
For data subject to statutory retention periods, the period is often longer. For tax purposes, for example, this period is seven years.<\/p>\r\n
VIEW, MODIFY OR DELETE DATA<\/p>\r\n
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to view your personal data and, if necessary, have it amended or deleted. In addition to the right of access, correction and deletion, you can ask us to restrict processing and you can object if you disagree with the processing.<\/p>\r\n
