Modern Workplace Administrator

We are exclusively recruiting a Modern Workplace Administrator for our client, WMC. This is a role that goes far beyond mere administration. You will act as the linchpin between users, technology, suppliers and security partners, ensuring that colleagues worldwide can work safely, efficiently and comfortably.

This role is ideal for an experienced Microsoft 365 or Intune specialist who is currently working for an MSP, IT service provider or consultancy firm and is ready to take the next step into a client-facing role.

You’ll be joining the Data & IT team, where you’ll work closely with colleagues specialising in IT, data and security. The lines of communication are short, the responsibilities are significant and your impact is immediately visible.

What will you do?

As a Modern Workplace Administrator, you are the main point of contact for everything relating to the digital workplace.

You will keep the Microsoft 365 environment running smoothly, oversee IT projects, monitor security measures and ensure that staff receive the best possible support.

Your duties will include, amongst other things:

• Managing and further developing the Microsoft 365 environment
• Configuring and managing Microsoft Intune and endpoint management
• Management of Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint and Exchange
• Co-ordinating hardware and software projects
• Working with external IT and security partners
• Supporting users with complex IT issues
• Improving processes relating to onboarding, offboarding and device management
• Implementing and supporting AI solutions within the organisation
• Identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing them independently

In short: you’re not just the person who deals with tickets, but the person who’s in charge of the modern workplace.

What do you bring?

We are looking for a professional who combines technical expertise with a sense of ownership and a strong commitment to customer service.

In addition, you have:

• At least 3 years’ relevant experience in Modern Workplace, Microsoft 365 or Workplace Engineering
• Experience with Microsoft Intune and device management
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint and Exchange
• Experience of managing user environments within a professional organisation
• A higher vocational education (HBO) degree in IT or a similar field
• Good organisational and project management skills
• A proactive and customer-focused approach
• A good command of both Dutch and English

An advantage

Have you gained experience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) and have you delivered several Microsoft 365 or Intune projects for clients? If so, this role is likely to be a perfect fit for you.
