Field engineer

The role

• Ensuring operational continuity
  Monitoring the performance and condition of stations, acting quickly to resolve technical issues and guarantee uptime.
• Planning and executing maintenance
  Coordinating maintenance activities across a wide geographic area, ensuring efficient planning and execution.
• Owning budget and long-term planning
  Managing OPEX and smaller CAPEX projects, while contributing to and following up on the 5-year maintenance and investment plan.
• Driving continuous improvement
  Identifying opportunities to reduce downtime, optimise processes and improve overall network performance.
• Managing suppliers and contractors
  Taking full ownership in supplier interactions, challenging where needed and ensuring quality delivery.
• Collaborating across functions
  Working closely with Project Engineers to ensure smooth handovers from construction to operations.
• Ensuring compliance and safety
  Preparing inspections and guaranteeing that all sites meet legal requirements and QHSSE standards.
• Supporting operations
  Acting as a key technical contact and supporting the ServiceDesk when required.

Profile

• Engineering background (mechanical, electromechanical, electrical) or equivalent experience
• Hands-on experience in maintenance, infrastructure or technical field operations
• Independent and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership
• Fluent in French and English is a must
• Willing to be part of an on-call rotation
